Limit FireFox Memory Useage

Go to "http://about:config" and scroll down to "browser.cache.memory.capacity" and set the RAM limit you'd like. I went for the 32768 setting suggested. Just sounds about right. Here's a link the the article I am stealing this from -> Firefox Tweak Guide. Most in the article is not useful to me, but there are some useful tips in there. I've done this tweak, and modified my toolbars in ways I didn't know possible saving some screen real-estate. UPDATE: I'm now using Flock as my primary web browser. Since it now runs the Firefox extensions I like, I have no reason to switch back since I've always loved the ability to use del.icio.us integration to keep my bookmarks online and easy to access locally. See my entry about this. So, to the point, I've had bad luck with this memory setting having ANY effect on Firefox, and now I'm possibly seeing the same problem with flock. I set Flock to 64000, and it's using 86100K as I write this. Oh, well, more research.
